The schedule is already defined, still a few days of waiting and then everything will be finally clearer. A week has passed without significant news, except for the reorganization of the company, in the house of Modena continues to work to approach, step by step, the new season with the first real market moves. The figure of the sports director has been defined, which will be Nereo Bonato, with the official confirmation expected in the first days of next week, then it will be the question that has inflamed the attention of the fans in the last weeks, that related to the appointment of the new coach: the names remain the same, with Fabio Pecchia who remains the most logical and warm, especially considering the will of the club to raise the level, as reiterated also by the new CEO Silvio Rivetti. The coach who knows Bonato well, Pecchia is also contested by Pisa, but also has a contract until 2027 with Parma, from which he should therefore release to be able to settle elsewhere. The other paths remain alive, those that lead to various Possanzini, to which the Cesena has also approached in the last hours, D’Angelo, always very appreciated by the Canarini club but more behind in the negotiations, and Tomei, coach of Ascoli, still engaged in the Serie C playoff final, but who could close his experience with the Marche team. The only real certainty is that an official choice will have to wait until the end of next week. If the domino of the benches in Serie A and B takes a long time to take shape, the situation is different in Serie C, where an old acquaintance of Modena is preparing to start a new adventure beyond the Secchia: yesterday afternoon, the Reggiana, fresh from being relegated to Serie C, announced the arrival of Attilio Tesser on his bench. The coach from Montebelluna, the architect of the promotion to Serie B of the Canarini in 2022 and the only coach of the Rivetti era to have led the club for more than one season, has signed with the granata until June 30, 2027, and will have the difficult objective of trying to bring the Reggiana back to the cadetteria. Another novelty that interests Modena more is Ettore Gliozzi: the Calabrian attacker, author of 11 goals in the last season with the Canarini and ready to release on June 30, will be a new player of Mantova, remaining therefore in Serie B for the seventh consecutive season. A news that confirms, therefore, the will of the gialloblu club to also renew the player park in view of the new championship.
