Modena Calcio restructures with Andrea Catellani as director general. The club aims to solidify its governance. Catellani, a former sports director, has been promoted to director general Sport, responsible for coordinating the entire sports area and acting as a liaison between the society and the field. The restructuring also affects the top management: Silvio Rivetti takes over as CEO, while Matteo Rivetti becomes vice president. Carlo Rivetti remains at the helm of the club as president. In the new organizational chart, Ilaria Mazzeo is confirmed as corporate director general with a delegation on revenue and communication, Andrea Russo as COO, and Mauro Malavasi as CFO. On the sports front, with Catellani leaving the DS chair, it remains to be defined who will lead the technical area: the Emilian club has announced that the appointment of the new sports director – probably Nereo Bonato, according to local press – will arrive shortly. By his side will be confirmed Alessandro Consolati, vice DS and scouting responsible. Davide Caliaro will instead continue to lead the youth sector. A reorganization that aims to solidify the club's governance, awaiting the completion of the picture also on the bench: the name of Andrea Sottil's successor is expected by mid-June.
